Australasian Psychology Services provides professional assessment, treatment and consultation to adult men and women. The psychologists of the service are endorsed members (Clinical and/or Forensic) of the Psychology_Board_of_Australia (PBA), in addition to full members of the Australian_Psychological_Society (APS). The psychologists hold doctoral-level qualifications in clinical or forensic psychology and routinely participate in professional development activities.


Dr Aleksandra Belofastov (MAPS)
BAppSc (Hons), DPsych-Clinical


Dr Belofastov brings to the service a range of clinical experiences with both men and women presenting with a broad range of mental health issues from depression and anxiety, to psychosis and personality disorders. In recent years, she has also specialised in the treatment of trauma including PTSD. Initially trained in Australia, Dr Belofastov also has experience working in the UK, and has been employed in both general psychiatric and forensic settings. Her guiding ethos is that all people have what it takes to live more fully according to their values and improve relationships. Dr Dion Gee (MAPS)
BSc, MSc (Hons), DPsych-Forensic


Since 2000 Dr Gee has specialised in forensic mental health within Australia and the UK; where he received post-doctoral training in the assessment and risk management of diverse offender populations and, interventions for sexually aberrant behaviour. More recently, his employment requires the assessment and intervention of mental health issues within Corrections Victoria, and the writing of pre-sentence/parole board reports at the request of the judicial system. Dr Gee's areas of expertise include the assessment and risk management of sexual and violent offenders, offenders with personality disorders, intellectually disabled offender, and offenders presenting with impaired mental functioning.
